"To create something from nothing... Pretty Powerful. The fact that I've discovered how to do this, never ceases to amaze me. To be able to express my feelings on these canvasses, under various guises- whether it be landscapes, still lifes, figures or abstracts- what a way to spend my days! I've come to realize what it's all about: communicating emotional truth, not necessarily reality. And for as much as my emotions become a part of each painting, the viewer also views each painting emotionally. And thereby we connect, the Artist and the Viewer, over and over again, through my paintings."
